Cynthia Gomez, an accomplished marketing strategist with an entrepreneurial spirit in the wine and spirits sector, embraces her first-generation Latina heritage from Mexico with pride. With over two decades under her belt, she has mastered the art of crafting memorable consumer brands and transforming existing ones to resonate in today's market. From intimate family-owned ventures to global powerhouses like Treasury Wine Estates, Cynthia's journey has been marked by versatility and a commitment to excellence in various market landscapes.

As the former VP of Marketing for Don Sebastiani and Sons, Cynthia's strategic foresight was instrumental in overhauling a comprehensive wine brand portfolio. Her leadership led Flybird, an innovative ready-to-drink margarita cocktail, to ascend to the #2 position in its category. Her collaboration with Target also gave rise to the California Roots wine brand, turning it into the retailer’s best-selling private label wine nationally.

Currently, as the Head of Marketing for STEL+ MAR Wines, an entrepreneurial start-up, Cynthia is adeptly steering efforts to engage millennials, sparking their passion for the world of wine. Along with a zeal for brand creation and revitalization, she finds joy in assembling dynamic teams and guiding the next wave of wine marketing professionals.

Holding a BS in Business Administration from Sonoma State University and an MBA from Golden Gate University, and being fluent in Spanish, Cynthia skillfully bridges cultural nuances in her professional endeavors. Outside the office, she cherishes outdoor adventures with her sons, Massimo and Marco, in the picturesque Petaluma, CA.
